Ladies only: urgent shoe question!....?

I get a lot of my shoes from Zappos.

I ordered some unbearably beautiful booties (suede) from them which came today. They are just a *bit* too wide (I have narrow feet), and just a *bit* too high in the heel for long wear.

Should I keep them (trying to make adjustments in the usual way with moleskin, gel insoles, etc.), or return them?

Ordinarily, I'd have less of a problem deciding, but they are SO beautiful.

I know some of you understand.

Ladies only: urgent shoe question!....?
Dr. Scholl's makes a great gel pad that goes in the high heel that can't be seen even if they are open toed.

I bought them, and they make your foot "grip" the shoe. Plus my narrow feet filled the shoes better. As for the pain... take Motrin before putting them on. Keep the dose going during the time you wear them. If you wear them enough, you might get used to them after a while. Also do some calf building exercises because a stronger leg works a high heeled shoe better.
Reply:I think if it's easyly returnable for a new pair then exchange them quick... but if not then deefinetly keep them! Just use adjusters!
Reply:see if you can't return it for the right size first. if not, keep 'em!!! i would. just use insoles, etc to adjust the size. enjoy your shoes!!!!
Reply:does it have a warranty? u cud return it and exchange it for the right size.
Reply:If they are uncomfortable because of those problems you should return them. I know its hard, but it the shoe doesnt fit well its going to bother you, and even with gel inserts you still may never get the perfect fit.
Reply:HI victory,

I have the same problem with my NARROW feet. Since these are suede and, by your description, apparently have no hard soles, you might try taking them to a local shoe shop or saddlery/harness shop and see if they can make them narrower for you. After all, TRUE suede is only leather that has been softened drastically by a special process. Therefore, a shoe repair shop or the saddlery/harness shop just might be able to "remake" the shoes a custom fit for you.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Edit: I just got a look at your boots. A GOOD shoe repair shop, or even the saddlery/harness shop, may STILL be able to alter those for you if you REALLY want to keep them that much, but it'll CO$T ya!!!

Again, GOOD LUCK!!!!! :D
Reply:keep them and put in inserts. You may not be able to wear them for hours a stretch but can wear them out. If you love them then keep them
Reply:i would suggest you to invest on a pair of insole replacements for ugg's boots. yes ugg's. but you can also place them into your booties, the insoles are really thick so after you place them into your boots your feet will be able fit snuggly into them :)

i also have narrow feet
Reply:do you really like them? would you feel comfortable wearing them outside of the house? do they still fit that you can walk in them?if you answered yes , keep em.
Reply:keep them and wear it on a urgent day.
Reply:Return them and keep looking...comfy feet are important.
Reply:keep them I would never part with shoes you are in love with
Reply:well you could keep them because your feet will grow and you might fight into them. but if there really a problem, then look around for the same pair, in you size, and then return them. but do it all before they can't be returned. try payless. they're a good store for shoes
Reply:even though they might be the most beautiful shoes, if they don't fit properly, you're going to be hurting in the long run. try to find a narrower size, and a shorter heel. it sucks, but you do NOT want foot problems later on in life. you could twist an ankle, break a toe, etc.
Reply:drfinatally return them cause then u can get the perfect ones besides if you can't wear then with a sweater that is long they have no natural use unless your a slut
Reply:Yep i know how you feel but exchange them and get another size of the same pair if you really like them
