Any cure for flat feet?

I have flat feet, and lately my feet have been hurting. Is there any cure, or anything I can do to help my flat feet? I've heard that insoles help but do they really. If they do then which types are the best.

Get insoles and put them in your shoes for one hour the first day. 2-3 the next day. Add an extra hour til you get used to them. If that doesn't work go to a podiatrist for custom fit orthotics.

Reply:No cure. But you can go to a foot doctor and have an ensole made that will put your feet in proper position and take most/all the pain away. I have had flat feet all my life so I DO FEEL YOUR PAIN. Ask you regulat MD and he can refer you to a place that makes these inserts. And shoes can be made, but iI prefer the inserts
Reply:I dont think that you can do anything about that, but the time that u could have was when u were a baby ur parents should have bought u orthopedic shoes. : )
Reply:get some arches , its not a cure but at least will prevent furthur problems, go to either a chemist, running store
Reply:Try foot supports(arch supports) to improve the arch in your foot. They have different sizes and you need to gradually keep going to a higher arch until you feel comfortable with how you feel. If you just jump to a high arching foot support it will make your feet feel sore and it is very uncomfortable.
Reply:Get insoles or a good tennis shoe. One that makes your feet uncomfortable at first, but break them in and eventually, you'll ahve that arch in your foot again.

Reply:Go to your podiatrist and have him or her look at them. Him or her will be able to prescribe special shoes and inserts for them, besides you don't want to pay for them let your insurance company do that.
