Yes ,I know what you mean.

A good comfortable pair of sneakers if you are allowed to wear them or a nurses shoe, whatever you are most comfotable with.

I was on a budget and a bit too much weight.

Get the best footware you can aford. No $10.00 bargain shoes. This is not the time to save. Your feet are your investment. Not the thing to play with.

If it doesn't look bad lean at times to take the weight off your feet. Sit at every opportunity. I worked on cement floors and they have no give. Standing in one spot for hours is bad. I would have to move back and forth. You'll do fine. You'll learn the little tricks to spare the feet.
Reply:why are you starting a job that you know is going to be no good for you? you are just wasting every ones time. you will end up packing it in in a couple of days so whats the point? tsk, i ask ya.
Reply:Soft soled shoes and if possible put a thin rubber mat on the floor
Reply:You know what really helped me immensely. Arch supports, you can buy them at walmart by the pharmacy by the other insoles. They only cost $2-3 and they are by the other insoles, they are specifically for women and they are purple.

I worked at a factory years ago and i was almost crying in pain from back and feet pain by the end of 10 hours on conctete. A co-worker told me to buy the insoles and I never complained again. It helped So Much. I still buy and use them today!!
Reply:Take 2 pairs of shoes with you, one with a lower heel than the other. Halfway though your shift change out of the higher pair into the lower pair. This works much better than just wearing a pair of flats for the whole shift. The first couple of weeks will still hurt like mad though, but you will get used to it.
Reply:ahhhhaha your not going to last, fuka.

them jobs where you stand all day are for druggos and teenage fathers who kill themselves like 0.15% each shift just because there dumb and cant stand up to there boss. they just stand and say yes.
Reply:Buy a good shoe
Reply:wear a chunky heel..not too tall..it aligns your back and eliminates back pain.
Reply:Measure your legs, if they are a different lenths you need to put a small isert in your shoe on the shorter leg.

This is a common cause of back pain.

Streach and move about, walking helps most back conditions.
