How come my high heel shoes always feel big and slip off a little in the back, even when i buy thr right size?

I'm usually anywhere bet a size 5 1/2 to a 6 and when i try on the shoe it fits but when i wear it, it later has space in the back. I even bought a size 5 and the same thing happened. Will insoles make thema a little tighter and if so which one?

because since theyre at an angle your feel slide down more. buy a half a size smaller.

Reply:I have the same problem with all of my really high-heeled shoes :)

just get the insoles- that will work...
Reply:u have big manly monster feets
Reply:Hey, if your feet are hot when you try them on they will be swollen and therefore will fit a bigger size. I would suggest an insole, you could even get the gel cushion ones from scholl, they also help take someof the pressure off the ball of your foot when wearing heels.

Good luck!
Reply:It could be the way you are walking in them bending the foot instead of striding in them or you may need a special narrower fit along with the proper size but i would think either of these will cause that but a full insole will also bring the heel up higher inside the shoe and may cause this to be worse and not better beware of which ones you use or you will waste money on something that will not help
Reply:dr scholls works best

but I still would reconsider shoe size. New shoes may fit at first but after a while of walking in them, they may become stretched and loosen up a little. This most likely is your problem
Reply:Sweety, you're just not getting the right size, try walking around in them to see if they fit b4 you buy them. Or try flats or sneakers or something that doesn't have an empty back
Reply:The human foot is not designed for those torture devices called high heels!

Your feet, knees, hips and back will be much happier if you make the WISE decision to wear shoes designed with the human foot in mind.

Go ahead and wear heels if you know a chiropractor you want to make rich.
Reply:they are at an angle and your feet slide down like on a ramp towards the ground. lower heels= less slipping and higher= more slipping. hope that helps. :D
Reply:when you wear shoes for the first time, they are stiffer, so naturally feel tighter. As you wear them over time they stretch a little, so beware of buying shoes that feel slightly loose to begin with. Insoles may help, and can be bought from any decent shoe shop - ask the shop assistant to recommend one for the particular type of shoes you are wearing. Also, try and shoe shop in the morning, as feet are larger in the morning than later in the day, as your body stretches itsself out when you sleep.
Reply:Also consider the width of the shoe. You may need a narrower size.
Reply:maybe you just have to get use to them
