Is anyone familiar with an insert that goes in your shoes made with the stuff called kevlar?

Kevlar is the stuff used to make bullet proof vest. My husband and I were at a tradeshow and some people were there with this type of insert that goes into your shoes according to your shoe size. The piece isn't covering the WHOLE insole, just the heel area and they claim that they "align" your body back into it's right position when your wear them in your shoes. They are pretty pricey for a pair of them but when they did the demo on us they seem to really help, and are supposedly lifetime guarenteed. Does ANYONE know what I'm talking about???

Yahoo search yielded the following:

FYI, Kevlar is the bulletproof material used in vests. It is strong and lightweight.
Reply:Sounds like an item you'd see on the show called, "I Want That!" Ever hear of it? It's on HGTV. Love the show; awesome show!
Reply:Kevlar is some strong stuff, its what the military uses for protection. Its heavy. In theory I think it would work. Give you more arch support. I'd try it. Though I dont know if I'd want to have that in my shoe to lift, as I said its heavy stuff. My husband is in the Military and I've lugged around his vest so......It might weigh you down and strain your ankles.
