My feet hurt, the soles of them. What could possibly be the cause. I'm 49 and work construction.?

I'm on my feet for about 12 to 14 hours a day, I use supports in my boots and gel insoles but they dont work. I havent had this before and someone told me I might be diabetic but my blopod sugar levels are ok. I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor but I would like a little insight before I go.

Could you be having problems with circulation?? You might since you are on your feet alot. Are you over weight and doyou have any type of vericose veins? You could even just have a pinched muscle in your back somewhere. Just see what the

doc has to say. I hope everything turns out ok.
Reply:Well Gary, it's time to put you out to pasture, you've been working to hard and it's finally caught up to you. You are going to have to slow down!!!

It's called Plantar Fasciitis

Plan-ter fash-ee-tus

The flat band of tissue that connects the heel bone to your toes has been stretched and possibly torn. Soak your feet in epsom salts and water and stay off of them as much as possible. You do need to see a doctor, I'm not a doctor, I'm only a blonde:-) Check out this web site, the licensed doctors on there will explain about your heel pain and any other medical question that you may have for free. Just type into the box...........heel pain......and hit the search button..........it's free:-) Good Luck you hard working man!!!
